Chair

Hilary Stokes

I am pleased to have been working with Spelthorne Rentstart for more than 10 years, initially as Treasurer and Trustee and more recently as Chair. My background is in tax and accounting and I have worked in a variety of roles for both very large and very small firms but am now enjoying early retirement. The charity has grown and diversified over the 10 years and I am very proud to be a small part of their success.

Secretary

Abigail Honeywell

Having lived in Staines for 20 years, I am actively involved in various local community organisations, including the foodbank which collaborates with Spelthorne Rentstart. I bring a wealth of professional experience in project management from my work in multinational corporations.

Treasurer

Martha Love

I am a Chartered Accountant and live locally. Initially I qualified with a ‘Big 4’ firm and worked in industry before moving to the charitable sector, most recently as Head of Finance for a conservation charity. Throughout my career I have been a charity trustee for organisations that I care about, currently Spelthorne Rentstart, Baraka Community Partnerships and Staines Methodist Church. I also undertake independent inspections on a ‘pro bono’ basis.

Trustee

Linda Marshall

I am involved with overseeing the extensive help that Rentstart offers to people in danger of homelessness. I am deeply embedded in the local community through my volunteer work with various charities, including the foodbank in Staines, where I help with deliveries. As a founding member, I am dedicated to ensuring that Spelthorne Rentstart stays true to its mission, upholding its core values and focus.

I am retired after 40 years working in the engineering and construction industry domestically and overseas. Since 2021, I have served as Ward Councillor for Staines.
